Its always worth spending a bit of time looking carefully at all the links. We go to a lot of effort to present ourselves primarily through photographs. This way the public can actually see who we are, what we are, and most importantly have a good idea exactly what they are paying for…… On the home page there are quite a few links to other pages, not just down the left hand side. So, where are we at? Well, It is difficult to believe that we are already into the second quarter of 2008. From our perspective it was a successful first quarter on the moving side. Its true to say that trade is always quiet for the first three months. However our ‘JFM’ 20% discount scheme seemed to work and we had a good amount of customers coming through. Much of the feedback from these customers can be seen on the questionnaires page. Storage. Well, a sign of the times I guess but we are seeing a few commercial customers tightening their belts and reducing the amount of storage they have quite a bit……However, Im thinking that 99.9% of the population will realise that many companies are tightening up spending and so this comes as no surprise. For the last eight years we have always had a waiting list here at the Solihull branch. Now, we actually have a couple of units empty ! So, for a great deal, nows the time to call! So, what else is happening? Well, a few years ago we tried to get an online forum off the ground for use by anyone and everyone who is moving, or works in the trade. The idea is to create an online community where people can share hints, tips, and advice. A place that will become a useful resource of contact numbers and helpful suggestions. The design has been finished and it can be found at www.movingforum.co.uk . Please, help us get it up and running. It will by next Tuesday be linked directly off the forum button on our website. Ok, so we are only @8 months behind on this one ( my fault ) but I can promise that the Cinema advertising will start shortly, perhaps, I think, maybe. No. IT WILL ! Ebay: As many thousands of customers know we used to have a packing materials shop on Ebay. We continue to extend our apologies to the many people who regularly email to ask why we are not there any more. Sorry. However it truly was becoming a hassle for us. Despite it being a success in itself the lack of a totally reliable means ( for that read Courier company ) of getting the goods out linked to ever spiralling costs of doing so meant that we just had to put a stop on it.
